Camping Village Fontana Marina

Holiday from 4 to 19 August, with a wife who has been waiting for 7 months and a 6 year old child. The village is beautiful, convenient for the sea with mobile homes that could improve in terms of attention to detail (cleanliness of domestic details); Resort staff very helpful, but what made the holiday extraordinary was the entertainment. Thanks to the skill and organizational ability of Mirko and Andrea and their team, we return home happy. Kids capable of meticulously directing the group and therefore offering engaging games and shows. For the mid-August period they were very good at organizing multiple daily events for adults and children, which involved the entire village at 360°. Of all the resorts we've been to, this is the one that convinced me the least. They tell you that the "Mobil house" is delivered around 5pm but you have to return it by 10am when you leave, meanwhile you lose a day at sea. They know that we arrive with a small dog but you can't stay in the playground because it closes for the silence hour, on the beach and in the swimming pool the dog can't enter and not even in the green area that they call Belvedere. So let's point out that they must at least set up a place where customers can park while waiting for the house to be ready because at the moment this place doesn't exist. In a bit of a hurry, they give us the house around 3.30 pm ... Unfortunately, quite dirty ... In addition, as the days go by, we realize that there is a leak from the shower that goes into the room with the two beds singles... I let you imagine the smell of stagnation. The market... Forget it... It doesn't even have the basic necessities and those it has cost a lot so it's mandatory to take the car and go shopping elsewhere. Last but not trivial detail is that chatting on the beach we discover that we who booked directly from the resort have paid a lot of money more than those who booked through booking or other search engines. Stupid us of course ...... but I advise those who want to go to this structure to check carefully before booking because there is a way to save money !! The rest of the village is nice and well kept. Of course it must be pointed out that you have to walk because it is developed in height and therefore ups and downs. It enjoys a beautiful view. Friendly staff, brilliant entertainment with nice and kind guys. But having said all that I would not do another holiday here.

We were on holiday at this campsite in July 2023. We chose the bungalow for four people, I would say very basic and small, so much so that the television (living room) was placed outside under the veranda... very uncomfortable!! Attention they don't check in before 4pm. The campsite is located on the Adriatica state road, there is nothing around within walking distance, except their private beach which is worth it! But be careful who goes with a stroller because in the underground tunnel connecting the beach and the campsite there are only stairs!! So open and close the stroller every time... poor cleanliness of our bungalow, first of all lots of ants (we bought the ant traps out of desperation) and in the end we had to clean it thoroughly by running to the first supermarket and buying rags and various materials. Note of merit: the entertainment staff is truly extraordinary and very nice!! Even the large and well-kept swimming pool thanks to the super lifeguard Thomas! While the restaurant is a bit sad, the pizza is good but all the other dishes are to be forgotten... nightmare kitchen style! often frozen, served still cold and of low quality! Even the breakfast served at the table without the possibility of a buffet is very sad... I underline the commitment especially of the always present entertainment because it is what saved our holiday!! Mediocre campsite.
